Start working!

As expected, this screw had plenty of thread locking agent applied to it.

I worked with the utmost care not to damage the Phillips head thread.

This shock driver was pretty cheap, and it was already broken by the time I removed both screws!!

Oh no, it's my brother, so I'll pay for it.

I'll go buy a top-of-the-line shock driver.

When it comes to tools, the less skilled you are, the better the tools you need to use.

Just when I thought I'd finally gotten it off,

(What's this?)

The iron balance weight is welded to the handle pipe!!

(Oh no, it's done)

I had no choice but to go with this.

The screw is long, so it's secure enough.

There is a notch to prevent the guard from turning, but I don't think I need to process it that much.

Just to be safe, I applied locktite to the tightening screw at the end of the grip to prevent it from loosening,

before tightening the screw.

Throttle lever side

Clutch side

Nitto-san! It looks more like an OFF-road bike now!

With this, the lever won't break even if it falls over. (Protects against side impacts)

But it will break if it's pushed up from below.

Well, it's just a temporary relief.

There's no discomfort when operating the handlebars or levers.

It's a pretty sturdy aluminum alloy guard.

I won't charge you for parts or labor, I'll get the bike eventually~lol

"I think this bike is mine, so I don't think you'll come to Japan, Nito-san"

Now, next is to install the side bag support.

I'll get the parts, so please wait a bit!

I'll ask Amazon to buy a shock driver.
